Essential Duties and Responsibilities A key member of the team to assist the Procurement Manager with Supply Chain functions and purchasing including but not limited to shipping, receiving, supply, cycle counting and inventories of raw materials, parts & finished goods, scheduling and freight.

  • Assists Procurement Manager with periodic physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods
  • Assists Procurement Manager in ensuring that daily production needs for ingredients and materials are collected and entered into systems accurately and timely.
  • Assist with Receiving, Shipping, Product Processing, and Purchasing operations.
  • Assists Procurement Manager to orders raw materials
  • Interact with vendors release and requisition of ingredients and materials.
  • Provide support for receipts, batch lots, and withdrawals.
  • Calculate and communicate correct product consumption needs and detail.
  • Verify calculations and balances via reports, warehouse management systems, managed on daily, monthly and quarterly intervals.
  • Ability to meet company policy for attendance and work schedule requirements
  • Ability to Travel domestic and foreign
  • Other duties assigned

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in manufacturing, purchasing or Production Control experience preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS) preferred.
  • Receipt reconciliation, oral communication skills, interaction with suppliers, data entry, inventory experience, cycle count process, excel, pivot tables,
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Lean Manufacturing a plus
  • Demonstrated skills & experience in scheduling, planning, and systems level problem-solving.
  • Proven experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, write and interpret and comprehend documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, schematics, technical documents and safety rules
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.

  • Ability to routinely use hand tools for maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Work in an environment with moderate noise level, wet or high humidity conditions, excessive heat, extreme cold and vibration, exposure to airborne particles and moving parts.
