Ohio County 911 Central Dispatch is currently accepting applications/resumes for a FULL-time and PART-time dispatcher. Starting pay depending on experience level. Minimum qualifications include:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Telecommunications experience preferred but not required

• Must type at least 30 wpm

• Must have valid driver’s license

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deal with stressful situations

• Communication and computer skills

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen tests and background

• Must be dependable, discreet, and have the ability to multi-task

Applicant must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. In addition to in-house training, there is a required four-week training at the Academy in Richmond KY (home on weekends).
