The mission of the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is to work in partnership with the community: to protect and preserve life and property; solve community problems; provide services to enhance the quality of life; and, reduce the fear and impact crime has on the citizens of our county. We recognize and accept our duty to safeguard lives and property; protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence and disorder. We will strive to respect the Constitutional Rights of all people in liberty, equality and justice.
